Summer 2023 is off to a hot start, and not just because of the weather! Our campers and counsellors enjoyed various activities and had a fantastic week of bonding, fun and AV spirit!
During Sand & Surf our campers were able to cool down with our kiddie pools and sprinklers, many opting to soak their counsellors! Some creative Bunnies also created awesome sand structures!
Arts and Crafts taught our Bunnies about Inky the Octopus and his epic escape from a the New Zealand Aquarium. Camp was then filled with silly octopi crafts swimming around – what awesome creativity, Bunnies!
Sock-a-doodle-doo had campers venturing around camp looking for the ingredients needed for a curse reversal potion. Ursula had played switch-a-roo with our counsellors and they needed help switching their identities back to normal! Thank goodness our Bunnies were up to the task!
Some Bunny groups attended a drumming workshop with CrashRhythm this week, and wow – do they have some awesome musical talent! Other groups had a fantastic time learning to calm our minds and bodies with our kid-friendly yoga classes, taught by Little Yogis Academy.
We finished the week with some EPIC under the sea costumes, and the presentation of our Silly Bananas and Big Chairs!
