Tigers Week 5

Hello Tigers! Another amazing week at camp, in part a big thanks to the wonderful spirit that the Tigers brought with them every day! 

It was a fun filled week with special guests Kangoo Kids and Bandology. With Kangoo Kids’s trampoline shoes, our campers had a blast jumping to new heights. At Bandology, our campers found their rhythm creating new beats with drumsticks and buckets. 

The musical feats of our campers didn’t stop at Bandology, at the recording activity, our Tigers sang their hearts out at karaoke! 

At Roaring Rallies this week the Tigers competed in a scavenger hunt and lip sync battle. Tigers 1 finished the camp wide scavenger hunt in a record time of 9 minutes. The lip sync battle was a much closer call to make. Tigers 1 performed a tightly choreographed and performed number of Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up.” Tigers 2 had a hardcore performance of Imagine Dragons’s “Believer.” Tigers 3 performed a fun, yet emotional number: “Cupid” by FIFTY FIFTY. After much deliberation, it was decided that Tigers 1 had snatched the win for this week’s Roaring Rallies. 

A Night on Broadway was this week’s theme and the costumes that came on Friday didn’t disappoint. A big props to the Tiger who won a Silly Banana for their costume, a pop up broadway theatre! The craftsmanship was fantastic and it was a well deserved win. 

On Friday, the Tigers had a blast with the slip and slide! It was a great way to cool off in the summer heat and even our counsellors couldn’t resist the fun. 

Thank you to all of our Tigers for making this week special and memorable. For the campers that we say goodbye to, we hope that you have a fantastic rest of your summer! For those returning to us next week, we hope that you have a wonderful long weekend and we’ll see you again soon!
