Hello Tigers! What a way to end the month! This week was jam packed with fun and we’re so glad to have spent it with your Tigers!
Kangoo Kids was back this week and our campers had a blast jumping to new heights with these trampoline shoes! In Fimo, many of our campers exercised their creativity as they sculpted mystical creatures from the clay. And as always, the gaga ball games were intense and exciting!
We had a special guest join our Tigers this week, Wonder Phil! His magic workshop was a huge success with our Tigers. They got a special opportunity to have a behind the scenes look at some of his magic. Wonder Phil taught the Tigers a handful of tricks to keep up their sleeves. While the campers won’t be pulling rabbits from top hats anytime soon, they still mastered the few tricks that they learned. Big thanks to Wonder Phil for the workshop!
At Roaring Rallies the theme of folklore was alive! The Tigers went through trials to become knights. They solved a scavenger hunt to help their counsellors regain their memories, they played capture the flag to find the sword on the stone, and then presented a reenactment of their epic quests. The winners of the Roaring Rallies was T2, specifically for their reenactment; it was full of tragedy, twists, turns, and triumph.
On Friday, the costumes were fantastic! Big shout out to two of our Tigers who won Silly Bananas for their creative costuming!
As July comes to a close we have to say goodbye to some campers. We’re going to miss all the wonderful camp spirit that you brought with you every day! We hope you have a wonderful rest of your summer! For those returning in August, we can’t wait to have even more fun in the upcoming weeks!
