Tigers Week 8

What a way to end the summer! The Tigers had an absolute blast this week at camp! It was fantastic to see so many returning faces and get to know a few new ones as well.

Our Tigers got to have one more jump in Kangoo Kids this week, and hit their final note in recording. There were complicated scavenger hunts and quests, but it wasn’t anything our Tigers couldn’t conquer. Rain or shine, our campers had tons of fun! The Tigers were lucky to have Idea Lab visit camp this week where they engineered their own boats and helicopters. Machines weren’t the only thing that the Tigers made this week, making buttons was a fantastic way for the Tigers to express themselves as well as make kind keepsakes and gifts for their fellow campers and counsellors.

At Roarin’ Rallies this week, the Tigers tie-dyed their own shirts. Each design was so unique, there was nothing better than seeing the Tigers smile with pride over the patterns they created. It was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon!

On Friday, camp spirit was at an all time high! Campers showed up in some incredibly creative costumes. Whether it was a full tuck shop, the gaga ball pit, or an entire 3 person bus costume- it was clear that the Tigers killed it with the costumes this week. The Tigers also had two well deserved big chair winners this week- we’re so proud to have such responsible, respectful, and caring campers in our unit!

As camp comes to a close, it’s important that we look back on all the wonderful times we had this summer; truly one for the ages! It was wonderful to make so many meaningful friendships and memories. Thank you to all of our Tigers for bringing the camp spirit through cheer and positivity! It’s hard to say goodbye, but we hope that it’s just goodbye for now. We can’t wait to do this again next summer! See you then!
