What a paws-itively awesome start to the 2025 camp season! The Bunnies hopped right into the fun with huge smiles, big energy, and lots of excitement for our theme of the week: When I Grow Up. From the moment campers arrived, they showed curiosity, creativity, and kindness as they dreamed big about what they want to be one day. It’s been a joy watching friendships form, confidence grow, and our Bunny community come together.
Our Bunnies have been hard at play this week as they explored a variety of fun and engaging activities. At Lego Fun Factory, campers let their imaginations soar as they built everything from rocket ships to castles. Arts and crafts were filled with bright colors and creative designs as campers worked on masterpieces to bring home. Jr. Multi-Sport gave everyone a chance to show off their athletic side, while dance had us all moving, grooving, and shaking our tails! Out in nature, campers explored the outdoors and used the world around them as inspiration. They collected leaves and used them as stamps, painting and pressing them onto paper to create beautiful natural prints. It was a wonderful way for campers to connect with nature and express their creativity at the same time. Every day was packed with opportunities to try new things, take on challenges, and—most importantly—have fun!
Above all, this week has shown us what makes the Bunnies so special: our incredible sense of community. From the camper who offered a hug and kind words to a nervous friend on the first day, to the camper who shared their paper plane skills with anyone who needed help, the Bunnies have proved time and again that we’re stronger together. Every act of kindness, every cheer, every high five has made this week one to remember. We’re so excited to see what next week brings as we continue to grow, learn, and have fun together!
Right in the middle of our busy days—between periods 5 and 6—comes one of our favorite moments: Schmooze! This camp-wide gathering gives us a chance to pause, come together, and show off our camp spirit. The Bunnies brought huge energy to Schmooze all week long! On Monday, during Minute to Win It, staff raced to unravel streamers and sprint up the hill, with Arrow taking the win to loud cheers. Wednesday’s Wednesday Warrior had staff sliding across the field with cardboard taped to their shoes—Lolly, Arrow, Claw and Moss gave it their all before being eliminated. Thursday’s Thingy featured a fun game of touch football and our beloved birthday tradition—this week, Cinnamon took the birthday splash for B2! We ended off the week celebrating a silly banana winner in B1 and two big chair winners this week in Bunnies!
Staff Celebration: Burmy Blossoms Brightly
This week we’re thrilled to shine the spotlight on one of our staff, Burmy! Burmy brought so much magic and care to camp each day. She planned a fantastic CIA where campers made beautiful paper flowers and even got a visit from Petal the Fairy, adding a sprinkle of wonder to the activity. Burmy also brought books from home to read to the Bunnies during our end-of-day cabin huddles, creating a cozy and calming way to wind down after busy days. Whether she’s helping a camper with a tricky project, supporting her co-counselors, or leading an activity with energy and enthusiasm, Burmy is always making camp brighter. We’re so lucky to have her as part of our Bunny family!
