Bunnies wriggled into Week 2 with a visit from Reptilia on Monday! Bunnies got to see many different reptiles, including Juno the snake and Speedy the turtle! We learned the gentlest way to pet our scaly friends (pet with two fingers!) and many of our Bunnies bravely decided to try it out!
Continuing with animal related activities, during Martial Arts our Bunnies went on an epic “Indiana Jones” style mission to help their friend, Mr. Froggy, gather all of his missing items. Thankfully, the Bunnies are epic adventurers and Mr. Froggy can now relax peacefully with all his items in place.
In Crazy Science, our Bunnies created some toothpaste, but not just an ordinary toothpaste…. elephant toothpaste! I think we can all now rest a little easier knowing the future of elephant dentistry is in good hands.
Speaking of toothpaste creating, our Bunnies had a blast getting squeaky-clean during Sand and Surf with our bubble bath station! Bunnies had a blast playing in the bubbles (and of course, soaking their counsellors!).
Week two closed with our Art Attack Costume day, which featured some STUPENDOUS costumes ranging from paintings to famous painters. We also enjoyed our weekly awarding of Silly Bananas and Big Chair Awards. And, no week would be complete without our Bunny-exclusive MusicFest with our beloved Camp Director, Ariel! Bunnies sang some camp classics such as “Down by the Bay”, and danced along to others, both new and familiar!
We had such an eventful week and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for next week!
