This week, the Froggies hopped into camp life with tons of excitement as we kicked off our Birthday Bonanza theme! From the moment campers arrived, there was a buzz of energy all around the unit — new friends to meet, songs to sing, and so many adventures waiting. It didn’t take long for the Froggies to start building the kind, welcoming community that makes camp so special.
One standout moment came when F2’s Nate received a Big Chair award for being a responsible leader, positive role model, and all-around star camper. As soon as his name was called, cheers started popping up around the cabin and quickly spread until everyone was celebrating together. It was one of those moments that showed just how quickly this Froggie family is growing.
The Froggies also jumped into some awesome specialist activities this week! In Nature with Malibu, campers got creative making nature crowns out of leaves, grass, rocks, pinecones, and all kinds of outdoor treasures. Over in co-op games, they practiced teamwork, communication, and problem-solving while taking on fun challenges together. And in Martial Arts, our Froggies transformed into focused little ninjas, working on their listening skills and concentration while learning the importance of discipline. Whether crafting, moving, or working as a team, the Froggies brought enthusiasm to everything they did.
One of the biggest highlights of the week was our Froggies-wide Ribbit Recess Birthday Party, run by Lizard! Campers celebrated with all kinds of party fun, including making party crowns, creating paper chains, playing Pin the Tail on the Lizard, hopping through hopscotch, battling it out in tic-tac-toe, colouring, and of course, dancing! It was a full morning of laughs, creativity, and birthday magic. Later in the week, the Froggies joined the whole camp for Music Fest with Ariel, singing camp songs and dancing together. Seeing Schmooze Field packed with campers singing and moving together was one of those “camp is finally here” moments that made the week feel extra special.
This week also brought some exciting Schmooze wins! Froggies 3’s Leo and Yogi crushed it in Minute to Win It and brought home the win for the unit.
Maple and Cipher represented in Thursday Thingies, with Cipher’s team taking the victory in a 3v3 dodgeball match.
A huge congrats to Leo for winning a Silly Banana this week, and another big cheer for Nate for taking home a Big Chair!
The Froggies are already making their mark, and we can’t wait to see what next week brings.
Staff Celebration Moment
This week’s Froggie shoutout goes to… Cipher! Cipher showed so much initiative this week and played a huge role in building the strong sense of community we’ve already started to see in Froggies. From the very first day, he made it a priority to ensure every camper in his cabin felt welcomed, included, and valued. Whether it was helping campers settle in, encouraging them to join in, or simply showing kindness and respect in every interaction, Cipher led by example all week long. His positive energy, helpfulness, and genuine care for the campers helped create a space where Froggies could feel comfortable being themselves and making connections. We’re so lucky to have Cipher helping our Froggie community grow stronger every day!

A: All late drop offs and early pick ups will take place in the MAIN parking lot. Please note that this is a different parking lot than where regular drop off and pick up takes place. Please call us at 905-901-4862, and we will come to you.
