Tigers Week 3

Hello Tigers! Camp was booming with energy as we headed into our third week!

We had many new arrivals to camp and we’re so grateful for all of the returning campers who welcomed these new faces with open arms. Many new friendships were forged!

For our Tigers, this week was jam packed with fun!

Using an array of colourful beads, the Tigers created beautiful beaded reptilia in Arts and Crafts. And using FIMO clay, the Tigers had another opportunity to mould their creativity. Campers in the T1 cabin made an army of ducks, each with distinct personalities; from Musician Duck to Cowboy Duck. Gaga seemed to be a favourite amongst the campers; there were some epic battles in the Gaga Pen this week!

At Roaring Rallies, the Tigers started with button making. It was wonderful to see how unique each button was and how the campers expressed themselves. Then the Tigers competed in Giant Connect Four; with multiple rounds played, every cabin was able to steal a win! Afterwards they competed in a Toy Invention Convention. Each cabin had wonderful thought out prototypes to present! It was a tough decision to make, but the winner was T3 with their Fishing Froggy! The pitch was that it was a practice pet so parents could see if their kids were responsible enough for a pet and it was also a fishing game. Congrats to T3 for earning their Toy Invention Certification!

This week’s theme was Toy Box, and the costumes on Friday were a fantastic display of the theme and overall camp spirit! A huge shout out to the Tiger who dressed as a claw machine! Incredibly impressive!

With such a stellar week, it’s hard to believe that we are also saying goodbye to some of our campers. Thank you for everything you brought to camp this summer! We hope to see you again!

And for those returning next week, we can’t wait to keep the fun going!

Yours in Camp Spirit,

Ducky
